Steampunk ACEO Cards for Steampunk Bizarre by Denise Farinsky

I have created 30 Steampunk original works of art called ACEO [Artist Card Originals and Editions]. These cards each measure 2.5" x 3.5". They are collages made from antique and art papers. Each card also contains an ORIGINAL illustration collaged into the design. These small illustrations are about the size of a quarter and created with ink and colored pencil on brown cardstock. Embellishments of glitter and sequins are on many of the designs. They will be sold for $10 each at the Sacramento Steampunk Society "Steampunk Bizarre and Swap Meet" on Febrauary 21st, Saturday. They are sealed with satin acrylic varnish for protection and labeled on the back. No two are alike. Original little pieces of art to call your own.

Have Yourself a Kitschy Little Christmas Paper Mache Vignettes by Denise Farinsky

As a "throwback" to all of the decorations in my grandparents house, I have made some 1960s inspired kitschy Christmas vignettes for some of my friends this Christmas. They are completely handmade with everything kitschy--from glitter to paper mache, from pipe cleaners to pom-poms, from Japanese paper to cotton balls...A Merry Early Kitschy Christmas my friends!
